To Lucille and Jimmy, I read in the Dayton Daily News of Janice's passing. I was really surprised. Growing up on Smithville Rd. and remembering all the fun times we had brings back many pleasant memories. I still have pictures we took way back then and still enjoy looking at them occasionally. My mother (Jane) is still around and doing well. My dad (Jack) died in November, 1999. It is still very hard for all of us. Dorothy is also still in Dayton and doing well also. You have my deepest sympathy and also my love. Please feel free to contact us at any time. Mom, Dorothy and I would love to hear from you.

Love, Susan (Focke) Alexander

I read in the news of Janices passing. I'm so sorry. I was also surprised of the passing of Smokie. So many wonderful years of my life was with Janice and Smokie. The kids and I talk of the good times quite often, especially of the horse trips. I miss those times. My DEEPEST SYMPATHY AND LOVE to all of you. Contact me any time if you want to. I;ve moved from the woods. Love Nancy

Donnie, Tony, Chris, Mike, Jimmy and Laura, Thank you for being such great children. You always was there to help your mom, and I know she appreciated it alot. She couldn't have made it without you. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your family today and in the past. Janice was a sister I never had, and I loved her and Smoky alot, and I'll miss her, too. God bless you all, and take to heart what the preacher said today, always be ready for "we know not the hour when Christ will come", and we have no gaurntee of tomorrow. Love you all. Keep in touch. You're all I have left now to remember my dear friend.
