Gail Forbes
age 57 of
Wilmington, Ohio died Sunday, April 8, 2007 at the Clinton Memorial Hospital. He
was born July 27, 1949 in Cincinnati, Ohio the son of William Harry and Ruth
Hutt Forbes. Mr. Forbes had been employed with Airborne Express for sixteen
years. He was a member of the Wilmington Church of God and had served in the U.
S. Army during the Vietnam War. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Sue Turner
Forbes whom he had married on September 25, 2000 in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee,
mother & step-father, Ruth and Jack T. Hammer of Westboro, step-mother, Annelies
Forbes of Cincinnati, one daughter, Robyn (Glenn) Reedy of New Vienna, one son,
Jason (Virginia) Forbes of Mason, one step-daughter, Marie (Ernest) Morgan of
Wilmington, two step-sons, Alfred Fulton and Jonathan (Joey) Fulton of
Wilmington, three grandchildren, Ethan and Austin Reedy of New Vienna and Carter
Forbes of Mason, five step grandchildren, Ashley Morgan and Dalton, Andrea,
Audrea and Crissy Fulton all of Wilmington, one sister, Stephanie Forbes of
Oakland, California, one half-brother, O’Brien Forbes of Cincinnati,
mother-in-law, Mattie Turner of Wilmington and all of his best buddies.
Services will be held 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Wilmington Church of God, 100
Gordon Drive, Wilmington, Ohio. Pastor Elizabeth Looney will officiate. Military
honors being presented by the American Legion Post 49 Memorial Squad. Cremation
will follow the services with interment of cremains in the Westboro Cemetery at
a later time. Friends may call on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at
the Wilmington Church of God. Memorial contributions may be made to the
Wilmington Church of God, 100 Gordon Drive, Wilmington, Ohio 45177. The Turner &
Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro is serving the family.
