Cora E. Fletcher age 77 of West Union, Ohio died Saturday, December 10, 2011 in Adams County, Ohio as a result of a two car accident. She was born May 11, 1934 in Otway, Ohio the daughter of the late Walter and Lydia Spires Stephenson. Mrs. Fletcher had worked in the healthcare services and also in several restaurants but had been primarily a homemaker. She is survived by one daughter, Randee Sue Osborne of North Carolina, two sons, Terry Allen (Donna) Fletcher of Hillsboro, Rickey Lee Fletcher of North Carolina, four grandchildren, Terry Lee Osborne, Lori Ann Noble, Michael and Danielle Fletcher and six great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Teresa Dianne Fletcher and fourteen brothers and sisters. Graveside services will be held 12:00 p.m. Saturday, December 17th at the Moore’s Chapel Cemetery near Blue Creek, Ohio. Friends may call on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. I am so sorry to read about your mom's passing. It is hard to lose a mom, but I hope happy memories will help you through the hard times.
We will miss Cora coming in for medicine. Many times we would deliver to her on our way to church. (We often tried to get her to come along.) She always had a story to tell....she would always "flirt" with Randy....tell him how handsome he was....always wanted to talk to "him" not us girls. She was lonely...missed seeing her family. Sorry she had such a tragic ending to her life, I will always wonder if she had a heart attack. May she rest in peace...sadly missed by all of us at Downtown Drug.

Sorry to hear about the tragedy of your loved one.She will be missed and i really liked her,when i worked at iga in peebles she always talked to me and told me her problems and i listned to her. I seen her just not to long ago and she told my sister,theres my good friend and she told me she loved me. She lived right beside my sister in the apartments. I'll be praying for you all during these hard times.Sadly missed.
What a terribly sad thing to happen to Cora. I ran in to her often and always enjoyed her stories. I often wonder how different her life would have been if she and Pete Brown could have shared their love and their lives together. She will be missed.
To her family I would like to express my deepest sympathy. She was a very dear friend to me she visited me often at my job. Always taking time to sit down and talk she was always telling me stories and we would laugh.. I miss her already so sad to hear of such a tragedy.
