
Wayne Curtis Fleming age 67 of Leesburg died Saturday, February 26, 2005 at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati. He was born on January 22, 1938 in Martinsville, Ohio the son of the late Leo and Bernice (Curtis) Fleming. Wayne had been the General Manager of the Grandle Acres Farms near Leesburg for over thirty-six years. He was a member of the Leesburg Friends Church, a 1955 graduate of Martinsville High School, a charter member of the Martinsville Lions Club, a member of the Wilmington F& AM Lodge #55, had served for seven years with the Ohio National Guard, and was Penn Township clerk for sixteen years, from 1988 –2004. On September 13, 1969 at the Hardin’s Creek Friends Church, he married Elora Reeves Fleming who survives. Also surviving are two daughters and a son-in-law, Angel and Mark Magee of Lincoln, Delaware, Amber Fleming of Leesburg, four grandchildren, Micah, Taylor, Stephen, and David Magee. In addition to his parents a sister, Rosalie Holmes, preceded him in death. Memorial services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 1, 2005 at the Leesburg Friends Church. Rev. John Fitzgerald and Rev. Bob Carroll will officiate. Burial will take place on Wednesday at the Martinsville I.O.O.F. cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at the Leesburg Friends Church. . Memorial contributions can be made to the Wayne Fleming Charitable Gift Fund, c/o Fifth Third Bank, attn: Gretchen Carson, P.O. Box 386, Leesburg, Ohio 45135. The Turner Funeral Home in Leesburg is serving the family.
