Thomas W. Farquer age 91 of Buford died Saturday afternoon, March 27, 2004 at the Brown County Hospital in Georgetown. He was born March 10, 1913 near Blanchester, Ohio the son of the late James and Frances Louise (Riley) Farquer. He was a lifelong farmer in the Buford area. He is survived by his wife, Helen (Walker) Farquer, to whom he married December 23, 1938 in Kentucky, one daughter and son-in-law, Judy and James Daryll Purdy of Buford, three sons and a daughter-in-law, Ted Farquer of Deerfield Township, Ohio, James and Marcia Farquer of South Lebanon, Ohio, Russell Farquer of North Ft. Myers, Florida, nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, two grandchildren and ten brothers and sisters preceded him in death. Graveside services will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the Buford Cemetery. Glenn Hess will officiate.
