David H. Elam,
Sr.,
age 62, of Hillsboro, died Friday, December 8, 2006 at the Miami Valley
Hospital. He was born February 26, 1944, in Mount Vernon, Kentucky, the son of
the late Walter Andrew and Minnie (Brooks) Elam. He had worked for Bell’s
Foundry in Hillsboro for over twenty years. On March 18, 1967, he married
Beulah (McClure) Elam, who survives. He is also survived by three sons, David
H. Jr. and his wife Ann Elam, Philip D. and his wife Cynthia Elam and Brad Elam,
all of Hillsboro, one sister Hester Nora (Gary) Garrett of New Jersey, two
brothers Kash (Donna) Elam of New Jersey, and Dale (Debbie) McClure of
Hillsboro, one grandson Zachery Elam of Hillsboro, as well as Emberly Adams,
Pyper Ross, Michael McClure and Brandi McClure. Graveside services for Mr. Elam
will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 14, 2006 at the Dunn’s Chapel Cemetery.
Rev. Wylie Perkins will officiate. There will be no visitation. The Turner &
