Dear Mrs. Bogardus & Family...
As a long time member of Hillsboro American Legion Auxiliary Unit #129, Raymond R. Stout Post, I commend you for carrying out this request. Each and every one of our service men and women, living or deceased, needs to be remembered with love and devotion for their contributions to perserving Americas' Freedoms.
Too often, we forget the families and friends left behind when we lose a loved one who is fighting for us. Even after 67 years, your Memorial Monument will serve as a reminder of that life lost.
Sincerely, Leslie Ramsey Americanism Chairman
