Helen T. Dunlap, age 93, of Hillsboro, died Saturday, June 17, 2006 at the Laurel’s of Hillsboro. She was born July 21, 1912, in Leesburg, Ohio the daughter of the late Jesse A. and Ola Patton Taylor. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Hillsboro and had been a seamstress all her life. She had worked at the Highland County A.S.C.S. office for 17 years and was the last surviving member of the Highland High School Class of 1930. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Robert C. and Carol Dunlap, Jr., of Leesburg; son-in-law James Finnegan of Wilmington; sister Melba Tackett of Morgantown, Ohio; grandchildren, Renee Tashiro of Roswell, Georgia, Melissa (Wayne) Bean of Marietta, Georgia, Cherie (David) McCarthy of Port St. Lucie, Florida, Michelle Brinkman, of Lima, Ohio, James (Mindy) Finnegan II, of Midland, Ohio, and Greg Finnegan of St. Petersburg, Florida; 16 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews including two special nieces Wilma McCauley of Bainbridge and Margaret Dean of New Vienna. In addition to her parents, she is preceded by her husband, Robert C. “Todd” Dunlap, December 6, 2005; and two daughters, Martha Unland, April 28, 1988 and Carolyn Finnegan, August 27, 2005. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 23, 2006 at Turner & Son Funeral Home, Hillsboro. Burial will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery.
