Dotson
age 81 of Hillsboro Died Thursday morning, March 25, 2010 at her residence. She
was born June 15, 1928 in Grundy, Virginia the daughter of the late Johnny and
Sarah Mullins Hall. Mrs. Dotson had retired from the Highland District Hospital
with seventeen years of service. She is survived by her husband, David Rhoads
whom she had married on April 14, 1980, three great grandchildren, Rachel
(Corey) Joslin of Hillsboro, Rebekah Brown of Hillsboro, Joseph Brown of
Hillsboro, three great great grandchildren, Cheyanne Binegar of Hillsboro,
Airyanna and Lauralie Joslin, six brothers, Dewey, Kelley, Leon, Charles,
Robert Hall and Jack Ling. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death
by one daughter, Janice Brown, one grandson, Kenny Brown, sisters, Jacky Hall,
Birchie Hall, Neva Chamberlin, Dorothy Roland, Blanche Ward and brother, Bennie
Hall. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 30th at
the Hillsboro First Baptist Church. Rev. David Hansen will officiate. Burial
will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday from 11:00
a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Hillsboro First Baptist Church. Memorial
contributions may be made to the family to help with expenses. The Turner & Son
Funeral Home is serving the family.
Dear family, I'm so sorry for your loss. I will miss Virgina's wave and smile as I pulled up the ally on my way home. She was a lovely lady and will be greatly missed.
