Jackie Lee Dillon, age 58, of Hillsboro, died Sunday, July 6, 2003 at his residence. He was born December 6, 1944 in Hillsboro, the son of the late Albert D. and Sarah G. Jenkins Dillon. He was retired from the Highland District Hospital, a Veteran of the United States Air Force where he attained the rank of Sergeant, retired from the Army National Guard and a member of the Hillsboro V.F.W. Post #9094. He is survived by his sister Doris (Dave) Elliott of Hillsboro, several nieces and nephews, and several great nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by two brothers Kenneth and Fred Dillon and two sisters, Flora Mae Hill and Mary Hunter. Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Visitation will be held from 4-5 p.m. Friday, July 11, 2003 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home, Hillsboro. So sorry to hear about Jack. I worked with Jack on nightshift for almost 10 yrs. He always said Hi & was always doing his job. He even tried to recruit me for National Guards. The hallways won't be the same without Jack. Sorry, I couldn't make it to visitation but I had to work. In sympathy & in Christ's Love, Angie Miller
