Ruth Marie Dean, age 81, of Mount Orab, died Tuesday, December 20, 2005 at Clermont Mercy Hospital in Batavia. She was born on February 24, 1924 in Cincinnati, the daughter of the late William and Alice (Bose) Moehlman. She is survived by a son, Jerry R. Dean of Cincinnati, a daughter and son-in-law, Carol (Lester) Hacker of Sardinia, three grandchildren, Shannon (Mike) Christophel of Hillsboro, Lester Hacker of Mount Orab and Heather Hacker of Sardinia, and four great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John T. “Tommy” Dean who died October 2, 1993, one brother and one sister. Funeral services for Ruth will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 26, 2005 at the Davis-Turner Funeral Home in Lynchburg. Terry Rose will officiate. Burial will follow in the Harwood Cemetery. Jerry and Carol, Hazel just told me about your mom I am very sorry to hear about aunt Ruth, I will miss a whole lot. I have not seen her for a while and I missed her, my prayers and thoughts are with you and the family during the Holiday season. It will be rough for awhile but as time goes by it will be easier.
