Pamela Annette Davy age 50 of Highland died suddenly, Friday afternoon, September 8, 2006 at the Highland District Hospital. She was born January 27, 1956 in Wilmington, Ohio the daughter of Cora (Wells) Thompson of Highland and the late Russell Earl Thompson. Mrs. Davy was a 1974 graduate of Fairfield High School where she remained a very active school supporter. She had also been a Girl Scout Leader of Troop 128 for several years and had attended the Highland United Methodist Church where she had served as secretary of the United Methodist Women’s Group.  In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Brian Davy whom she had married on January 2, 1988 in Highland, Ohio, two daughters, Elizabeth Davy of Hillsboro and Ashley Davy of Highland, one son, Richie Davy of Highland, one sister, Monda Doty of Hollywood, Florida, two brothers, Joseph Thompson of Lynchburg, Richard Thompson of Highland, four Aunts and Uncles and eight Nieces and Nephews. Serivces will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 13th at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Rev. Dennis Miller and Rev. Mary Cyrus will officiate. Friends may call on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Memorial contributions may be made to the College Fund for Ashley Davy, c/o P.O. Box 185, Highland, Ohio 45132.

I was shocked and sad to learn of Pam's death. I am sorry I could not attend the visitation. Pam is the first person from our graduating class to pass on. Pam had many difficulties in her short life but she always had a smile. I enjoyed the years of little leauge and anyone her knew her knew what a good mother she was - her family was her life.
