
Lucy Davis age 98 of Hillsboro died Saturday morning, May 13, 2006 at the Crestwood Nursing Center in Hillsboro. She was born February 4, 1908 in Adams County, Ohio the daughter of the late Harvey and Rosa Green Snider. Mrs. Davis was a member of the Hillsboro Church of Christ and a former member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and Highland County Senior Citizens. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Helen and Paul Satterfield of Greenfield, one son, Harold Davis of Wilmington, five grandchildren, Floyd Priest of Leesburg, David Priest of South Salem, Randy Davis of Chillicothe, Ron Davis of Athens and Brenda Schawnecker of Carmel, Indiana, three step grand-daughters, Lesa and David Dixon of Piketon, Sharon Arledge of Ft. Myers, Florida, Rebecca Stephens of Peebles, twelve great grandchildren and nine great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Davis on December 23, 1977, one son, Floyd “Tom” Davis, one granddaughter, Karen Fulkerson, one daughter-in-law, Martha Jo Davis, one son-in-law, Donald “Sandy” Priest and seven brothers and sisters. Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 16th at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Richard Lloyd will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
