Doug Davis, age 62, of Lynchburg, died Wednesday, December 6, 2006 at his residence. He was born February 8, 1944, in Hillsboro, the son of the late Earl Edward and Clara Laverne Snyder Davis. He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Denny and his wife Becky Davis of Lynchburg, and Tim and his wife Julie Davis of Wilmington; granddaughter Emma Davis of Lynchburg; grandson Jordan Davis of Wilmington; and brother Ed Davis of New Vienna. Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Saturday, December 9, 2006 at the Davis-Turner Funeral Home, Lynchburg. Burial will follow in the Lynchburg Masonic Cemetery.
