Harry
Creek Jr. age 75 of Midland, Ohio died Saturday,
November 27, 2004 at his home. He was born August 17, 1929 in Boston, Ohio the
son of the late Harry Everett and Josephine Lorena (Michael) Creek. Mr. Creek
was a supervisor for the Irwin Auger Bit Company retiring with forty-five years
of service to the company. He was a U. S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He was
a member of the Wilmington American Legion Post
# 49 and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 1224 in Wilmington. He is
survived by his wife, Colena M. (Yankie) Creek whom he had married on October 2,
1951, three daughters and sons-in-law, Connie Lee and Roger Bills of Macungie,
Pennsylvania, Lorry Lea and Danny Cox of Wilmington, Angela Kay and Mark
Constant of Wilmington, one son and daughter-in-law, Gary Martin and Roberta
Creek of Martinsville, ten grandchildren, one step grandson, several great
grandchildren, one sister, Caroline Marshall of Lynchburg and one brother, Ralph
Creek of Wilmington. In addition to his parents, five brothers, Stanley, John,
Wendell, Harold and Vernon Creek and one sister, Elsie McQuitty, preceded him in
death. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 1, 2004 at
the Davis-Turner Funeral Home in Lynchburg. Burial with military honors
presented by the Wilmington American Legion Post 49 Memorial Squad will follow
in the Lynchburg Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m.
until 8:00 p.m. at the Davis-Turner Funeral Home in Lynchburg. For more
