Delores Eileen Cox age 73 of Hillsboro died Friday evening January 9, 2004 at the Highland District Hospital. She was born November 17, 1930 in Peebles, Ohio the daughter of the late Homer E. and Letha (Grooms) Adams. She was a member of the Willettsville Chapel Church and also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 1161 Auxiliary. She is survived by her husband Harold D. Cox whom she had married on September 29, 1949, two sons and daughters-in-law, Gary L. and Patsy Adams of Washington Court House, Terry Neil and Crystal Cox of Greenfield, nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, one brother and sister-in-law, Ronald L and Nellie Adams of Hillsboro, sister-in-law, Ruth Adams of Hillsboro, several nieces and nephews including a special niece and nephew, Nancy and Garland Taulbee of Hillsboro. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Malinda J. Cox Edwards in 1977, one son, Edward Eugene Cox in 1998, one grandson, Harold Cox in 2003 and one brother, Richard E. Adams in 1991. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Jason Yoakum will officiate. Burial will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary Memorial Services will be held at 7:45 p.m. Monday evening at the Turner & Son Funeral Home.
