Myong Hui
Copas,
age 48, of Hillsboro, died Monday, September 25, 2006 at her residence.
She was born February 1, 1958 in Chonan, South Korea, the daughter of
Hong Tae Song and Li Chong Ok. She
is survived by her husband Randy J. Copas, to whom she married December 16, 1977
in Seoul, South Korea; her mother Li Chong Ok of Seoul, South Korea; three
children all at home, Jerry Dale Copas, Katherine Li Copas, and Jonathon
Clifford Copas; two brothers, Hong Kwang Puo and Hong Yong Puo both of Seoul,
South Korea; sister Hong Bok Hui of Chonan, South Korea; nephew Hong Yong Sok of
Chonan, South Korea; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
She is preceded by her father Hong Tae Song.
Funeral services will be 7:00 p.m. Thursday, September 28, 2006 at the
Turner & Son Funeral home, Hillsboro. Reverend
Dan Johnson of the Hillsboro First United Methodist Church will officiate.
Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
