Richard D. Collins age 67 of Hillsboro died Sunday morning, April 22, 2007 at his home. He was born January 28, 1940 in Hillsboro the son of the late Wendell and Martha (Kirk) Collins. Mr. Collins was a mechanic and excavator. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife, Fran Fawley Collins, three sons, Randy (Teresa) Collins of Hillsboro, Dennis (Cheryl) Collins of Hillsboro, Todd (Nancy) Collins of Washington Court House, ten grandchildren, Jessica (Seth) Caldwell of Midland, Bryan, Shelby and Clayton Collins of Hillsboro, Joshua (Anneka) Collins of Lynchburg, Tiffany and Jeremy Collins of Hillsboro, Ashley (Rob) West of Midland, Justin Collins of Midland and Felicia Brummett of Washington Court House and many many special grandchildren, five great grandchildren, one brother, Bill (Mary Jo) Collins of Hillsboro and one sister, Sarah “Sally” (Robert) Henning of Los Lunas, New Mexico. Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Tom Stoops and Joe Cluff will officiate. Burial will follow in the St. Mary Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Care Hospice, P. O. Box 123, Wilmington, Ohio 45177.
