Elma Cole age 80 of Hillsboro died Thursday, January 16, 2003 at her residence. She was born December 22, 1922 in Cincinnati, Ohio the daughter of the late Paul Jefferson and Mickey (McNear) McBride. She was a member, trustee and missionary of the Wayman Chapel AME Church. She is survived by two daughters, Barbara Garrett of Dayton and Dianna Cole of Hillsboro, one sister, Della Blakey of Cincinnati, ten grandchildren, Phillip Cole of Ann Arbor, Michigan Patricia Hunter of Dayton, Aaron Cole of Hillsboro, Melody Huguely of Atlanta, Georgia, Micki Cole of Dayton, Scott Cole of Chicago, Illinois, Eric Garrett of Dayton, Shirley Evans of Dayton, Edward Cumberland Jr. of Columbus and Joanne Gregory of Columbus, seventeen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Cole on March 5, 1997, one son, David Cole on February 28, 2000, one great grandson, Andre Cole, six brothers and one sister. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Wayman Chapel AME Church in Hillsboro. The Rev.
