Bell Cluff age
92 of Hillsboro died Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at the Crestwood Nursing Center.
She was born August 19, 1918 in Buford, Ohio the daughter of the late Joseph
and Martha Screechfield Fawley. Mrs. Cluff had worked as a restaurant manager
and cook at several places in Hillsboro that included the Skyscraper and Pasquales.
She is survived by five daughters, Donna Jean (Robert) Wilkin of Enon, Ohio,
Shirley Joan (Dwight) Creek of Sugar Tree Ridge, Patricia Johnson of Hillsboro,
Betty Lou (Michael) Germann of Seaman, Janet (Ken) Dickey of Tipp City, two
sons, Joseph (Margie) Cluff of Blanchester, Charles (Beth) Cluff of Hillsboro,
twenty grandchildren, thirty-six great grandchildren, six great great grandchildren,
several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in
death by her husband, Charles Russell Cluff on August 16, 1955, one daughter,
Nancy Ellen Cluff, two brothers, Curtis and Herbert Cluff and three sisters,
Marie Cordrey, Louise Burns and Bessie Mae Newman. Services will be held 1:00
p.m. Saturday, December 18th at the Turner & Son Funeral Home
in Hillsboro. Joseph Cluff will officiate. Burial will follow in the Dunn’s
Chapel Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at
the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Memorial contributions may be
made to Hospice of Hope, 909 Kenton Station Drive, Maysville, KY 41056 or the
Activities Department of Crestwood Nursing Center, 141 Willettsville Pike, Hillsboro,
Ohio 45133.
