Rachel Janelle Clift, age 16, of Hillsboro, died Wednesday, January 26, 2005, as the result of a two-car accident near Hillsboro. She was born November 26, 1988 in Brown County, Ohio the daughter of Thomas and Ruby Jean Sneed Clift. She was a sophomore at White Oak High School and had attended the Sardinia Baptist Church. She is survived by her father Thomas Clift of Batavia; her mother and step-father Ruby and James Plymire, of Hillsboro; two sisters, Sarah (George) Wicker of Hamilton and Elizabeth Clift of Hillsboro; four brothers, Kenneth and Thomas Clift, and Ryan and Zach Plymire all of Hillsboro; paternal grandmother Alberta Clift of Seaman; maternal grandmother Lee Engleman of Mason; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. She is preceded in death by her paternal grandfather Kenneth Clift and maternal grandfather O.D. Sneed; and her uncle Albert Scott Clift. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 31, 2005 at the Sardinia Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Union Cemetery. I am so very sorry about your loss. I knew Rachel since third grade. She was my first friend when I moved here. She was the best friend ever. She was always there for me when I needed her. I will always miss her. I know how hard this is for you. I loss my 16 year old cousin in 2003. He was also in a car accident. It is very hard but, it will get easier.
