Bruce
Allen Clay, age 30, of Hillsboro, died Thursday, October 23, 2003 as the
result of an automobile accident. He
was born March 27, 1973 in Wilmington the son of Robert L. and Vicki Gall Clay. He enjoyed playing pool, competing in many statewide
tournaments, and softball. He had
previously been employed by Airborne Express and American Tool in Wilmington,
and was a member of Sons of American Legion Leesburg Post #568.
He is survived by his father Robert L. (Rebecca) Clay of Leesburg; mother
Vicki Orebaugh of Dayton; son Bradley Clay of Wilmington; sister Mindy (James)
Slater of Greenfield; brother Casey Clay of Cincinnati; brother Shane (Tedrick)
Clay of Cincinnati; nephews Daniel and James Slater of Greenfield; former wife
Augusta Clay of Wilmington; step-daughter Hannah Oppy of Wilmington; and several
aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Lowen
and Isabel Gall; and paternal grandparents Leonard and Mary Clay.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday, October 27, 2003 at the Turner
& Son Funeral Home, Hillsboro. Pastor
Keith Stagge will officiate. Burial
will follow in the White Oak Grove Cemetery in Buena Vista. Visitation will be
Sunday from 2-5 p.m. at the Turner & Son Funeral Home.

We are sorry to hear about your loss. It is a shock to us. We played pool with Bruce. We will miss seeing him and playing pool with him. He was one of the best pool players there was. Again sorry for your loss.
