Debra “Deb” Chaney, age 53, of Hillsboro, died Saturday, July 2, 2005 at her residence. She was born July 1, 1952, in Maysville Kentucky, the daughter of Irvin and Anna Lee Hilterbran Roush. She was a member of the Eagles Ladies Auxillary Aerie 1161, Hillsboro. She is survived by her parents, Irvin and Anna Lee Hilterbran Roush, of Lynchburg; husband David Chaney, to whom she married June 28, 1970 in Hillsboro; son David Scott (Angela) Chaney of Hillsboro; three grandchildren, Erin, Amber and Aidan Chaney all of Hillsboro; grandmother Mildred Hilterbran of Maysville, Kentucky; brother-in-law Larry (Beverly) Chaney of Hillsboro; sister-in-law Patti (Gary) Ward of Hillsboro; several nieces and nephews; and also leaves behind a number of friends. She is preceded in death by her daughter Denise Chaney on October 27, 1997. Eagles Lady Auxillary services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 9, 2005, followed by funeral services at the Turner& Son Funeral Home, Hillsboro. Janie Shoemaker will officiate. Burial will follow in Dunn’s Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 9 at the funeral home.
