Dear Lola and family; We are sorry that we are unable to be with you at this time as we are in Florida. This event causes us to rememberour high school days and early days in Lynchburg with the Chaney family. Words are never enough to provide the comfort that one desires but be assured that Dales ready wit and quick smile lingers in the mind of all who knew him and his family has a lasting legacy to also comfort them. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Skip and Chrys Pulliam

Dear Lola, Kevin, Kim, and Joyce and Family,
I was saddened at the loss of my dear Uncle. I'm sorry that I was not able to personnally attend the funeral and honor his memory. We had many good phone conversations over the last year that I will treasure. He was such a good hearted fellow, just like my Dad. Grandma and Grandpa Chaney were very proud of the both of them. I'll miss him just like you, and wish you the best as we face the future. He's in a better place now. God bless. Jimmy Ray Chaney

I will never forget my Uncle Dale. He was a kind and loving man with a wonderful sense of humor. He reminded me a couple of weeks before he passed away that he used to carry me around on his shoulders when I was little. I had forgotten that, but I'll carry that conversation with me for the rest of my life. I'll always miss you.
