Evelyn Ruth Campbell, age 86, of Hillsboro, died Thursday, April 27, 2006 in Enon, Ohio. She was born March 8, 1920 in Griffin, Georgia the daughter of the late William Charles and Vera Elizabeth Brumit Rush. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Hillsboro. She is survived by seven children, Nellie Ruth (Larry) Andrews of Hillsboro, V. Charlotte (Steve) Price of Yellow Springs, George Edward (Peggy) Campbell of Yellow Springs, William R. (Bonnie) Campbell of Hillsboro, John L. (Sandy) Campbell of South Charleston, Danny J. (Carol) Campbell of Enon, and Jerry M. (Karen) Campbell of Hillsboro; two brothers, Curtis (Nell) Rush of Pell City, Alabama, and Eulas (Corine) Rush of Summerville, Alabama; three sisters, Madge Cousins of West Virginia, Patsy Duncan of New York, and Dera Kaylor of Roanoke, Alabama; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren; and her very dear friend Jewel Brashears of Hillsboro. In addition to her parents she is preceded by her husband George Campbell in November of 1995; son Jimmy Campbell; five sisters and one brother. Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 8, 2006 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Hillsboro. Father Mike Paranuik will officiate.
