John H. Campbell, age 85, of Lima, Ohio died Saturday, November 30, 2002 at Plus Health Care in Lima. He was born August 29, 1917 in Dayton, Ohio the son of the late John and Kathleen Campbell. He was a farmer and a veteran of the United States Army. He is survived by four children, Hazel (Alonzo) Caudill of Lima, John E. Campbell of San Francisco, CA, Lawrence (Sheila) Campbell of Lima, and Charlotte (Larry) Johnston of Jackson, MI; seven grandchildren, Lawrence Campbell, Jr., Alicia Campbell, D.J. Caudill, Jan Caudill, and Pam Caudill all of Lima, Lawrence Johnston and April Johnston both of Jackson, MI; one great grandchild Kristy Caudill of Lima, and one sister Thelma Hutchison of Dayton, OH. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Marie in 1995, a son Jason Campbell and one grandson T.J. Caudill. Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Thursday, December 5, 2002 at the Carmel Cemetery. The Rev. Harold Braley will officiate. The Turner & Son Funeral Home, Hillsboro is serving the family.
