Harriett Elizabeth Burba, age 85, of Hillsboro, died Wednesday, March 23, 2005 at the Highland District Hospital.  She was born February 2, 1920, in Sinking Spring, Ohio the daughter of the late Emma E. Shoemaker.  She was a member of the V.F.W. Post #9094 Auxillary, retired from Buckeye Molding in 1985, and had worked at Lloyd’s Restaurant, and the Tummy Treat Restaurant in Hillsboro.  She is survived by five sons and three daughters-in-law, Paul Richard (Janet) Burba of Nashville, Tennessee, Siegal L. (Brenda) Burba of Springfield, Virginia, Gerald Burba of Hillsboro, Daniel (Rosita) Burba of Orlando, Florida, and David Burba of Hillsboro; 14 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.  In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Paul Burdette Burba in 1984, one son Terry Burba in 1975, and grandparents Olie and Mamie Kendell Shoemaker.  Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 2, 2005 at the Turner& Son Funeral Home, Hillsboro.  Burial will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery.  Visitation will be 6:oo p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, April 1, 2005 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home.  For more information and to sign our on-line register please visit www.turnerfuneralhomes.cc
