Jim, Diana, Martha and Larry, So sorry that I can't be there to say good bye to your mom. I did get to see her a few times on my trips back home. She and Margaret Etienne made a quilt for my son a few years back.I will miss her very much. There are so many memories going between our homes in Harwood. Love, Paulette

Dear family of Berneda,

Where do I begin? I have a lot of memories about her...going to the store for her and getting her Hostess powdered donuts; shoveling her sidewalk during a snow; Chettie's store; listening to her and grandma talk; also remember a few Christmas mornings when we (Mike and Margaret's kids) would have a gift under the tree from her and many more I am sure.

I enjoyed a few visits with her at Heartland a few months back. Took both of my kids down to see her.

She was a sweet and kind lady. Heaven has gained a couple of great women in the past few months.
