Betsy Dawn Brogan age 34 of Hillsboro died Wednesday morning February 24, 2010 at the Clinton Memorial Hospital in Wilmington. She was born February 18, 1976 in Charleston, South Carolina the daughter of Patricia Eade Gordon of Goose Creek, South Carolina and the late Jerry Roper. Mrs. Brogan was a former employee of ABX Air in Wilmington. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Steven Brogan whom she had married on June 18, 1994 in South Carolina, two sons, Adam and Corey Brogan of Hillsboro, one sister, Sonya Prather of South Carolina, one brother, Steven Roper of South Carolina, her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Cheryl and Robert Brogan of Grayson, Kentucky and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 27th at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Rev. Tom Zile will officiate. Cremation will follow. Friends may call on Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
