John James Brock age 88 of Midland died Wednesday, February 14, 2007 at the Clinton Memorial Hospital in Wilmington. He was born January 6, 1919 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Mr. Brock had worked as a truck driver and welder for the Dualite Company. He is survived by his son, Gordon, one granddaughter, Tara Clark of Aurora, Indiana and one great granddaughter, Brooklynn Holland of Aurora, Indiana.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Brock. Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday at the Davis-Turner Funeral Home in Lynchburg. Burial will follow in the Jefferson Township Cemetery in Westboro. Friends may call on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the Davis-Turner Funeral Home in Lynchburg.
