Earl J. Brashears, age 82 of Hillsboro died Saturday, December 13, 2003 at the Locust Ridge Nursing Center in Williamsburg, OH. He was born November 30, 1921 in Knoxville, TN. the son of the late Joseph and Pearl Ledford Brashears. He was a retired driver for the Pepsi Company. On October 29, 1943 in Pineville, KY. he married his wife of 60 years, Pearl Jewell Linville Brashears who survives, along with daughters and sons-in-law, Jolene Holloway of Chillicothe, Connie and Harold Lee of Cape Coral, FL.; Johnnie Yeary of Hillsboro, Teresa Morrison of Leesburg, Stevie Mathewson of Dayton, OH.; sons and daughters-in-law, Bob and Linda Brashears of Dayton, and Jeff and Tammy Brashears of Dayton, 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be planned by the family at a later date. There will be no visitation. Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro is serving the family.
