Tim
Bradley, age 54, of Greenfield, died Thursday, September 2, 2010 at the
Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe. He was born September 8, 1954 in
Logan County, West Virginia, the son of the late Everett and Leona Farley
Bradley. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving as a recruiter
during the Persian Gulf War. Prior to serving as recruiter, he served on an
M60-A3 Tank and had several assignments, including West Germany, Texas, and Ft.
Knox. He loved and served his country, and was very patriotic. Tim was a big
sportsman; he enjoyed hunting, fishing and gambling. He is survived by his wife
of 38 years, Edith Spradlin Bradley; two children, Lena Bradley of Greenfield,
and Mickey A. Spradlin of Columbus; grandson who was raised as a son Karl
Bradley; granddaughter Tennessee Edith Spradlin; siblings, Gregory (Jennifer)
Scott of Jamestown, Deborah Reay of Bowersville, Tondalaya Hawkins of
Williamsport, George R. Scott, Jr. of Greenfield, Dwayne (Pinn) Scott of New
Vienna, and Gwyn (Paul) Mullin of Greenfield; very special friend and uncle
Frank (Rita) Scott of Greenfield; several nieces and nephews including Tony J.
Scott, Tyler A. Scott, Casey T. Scott, Kyle Shoaf, and Frankie Scott; aunts
Florence Johnson of West Virginia, and Juanita (Eugene) Cook of West Virginia;
and uncles Luchin (Phyllis) Farley of Kentucky, and Larry (Betty) Farley of West
Virginia; and very special friends Bob and Donna Midlam of Greenfield, and Chris
and Connie Nelson of Hillsboro. He is preceded in death by his father Everett
Bradley; mother Leona Farley Bradley Scott; and step-father George E. Scott,
Sr. Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at the
Turner & Son Funeral Home, Hillsboro. Burial with military honors accorded by
the Highland County Honor Guard will follow in the Greenfield Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 11:00 am until the time of serve at 1:00
