Ruth Boyer age 98 of Indianapolis, Indiana died Friday morning, May 18, 2007 at the Regency Nursing Home in Indianapolis. She was born July 15, 1908 near Belfast, Ohio the daughter of the late Samuel Lewis and Stella Mae Douglas Tener. Mrs. Boyer had worked as a young girl with the Crowell-Collier Publishing Company in Springfield, Ohio where she met her husband, Stanley William Boyer whom she married in August of 1928. He preceded her in death in November 1978.  She is survived by two children, Phyllis Bailey of Indianapolis, Indiana, William Boyer of Cincinnati, five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, two sisters, Betty Morgan and Joan Fauber of Hillsboro, one brother, Lewis Tener Jr. of Hillsboro and one sister-in-law, Sally Tener of Hillsboro. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Earl, Russell, Roy and Ralph Tener and two sisters, Hazel Holladay and Marie Ditmer. Services will be held 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 22^nd at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Burial will follow in the Prospect Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. unit 3:00 p.m. at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
