Maranda Jewel Beekman, 1 month, of Hillsboro, died Thursday, January 30, 2003 at the Highland County District Hospital. She was born December 28, 2002 in Hillsboro the daughter of Tommy and Tammy Sue (Stuckey) Beekman. She is survived by her parents; seven siblings, Bobby, James and Andy Cooper, Brook and Melinda Long, and Brittany and Logan Beekman, all at home; maternal grandparents William (Melinda) Stuckey, of Hillsboro, and Carol (Cordel) Stambaugh, of Hillsboro; paternal grandparents, Tom and Cheryl Beekman, of Chillicothe; paternal great grandparents Chester and Mary Campbell, of Cincinnati; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Graveside funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 3, 2003 at the Glen Haven Memorial Gardens, Springfield. Visitation will be from 3 until 5 p.m. Sunday, February 2, 2003, at the Turner & Son Funeral Home, Hillsboro. I WAS VERY SADDENED TO HEAR ABOUT MOMMA. I DID NOT KNOW ABOUT THIS AND I HAD SENT HER AN EMAIL ABOUT RUSSELL AND THEN FOUND OUT THAT SHE HAD PASSED AWAY ALSO. I WORKED WITH MOMMA AT THE PIKE NATAURAL GAS DURING THE 60'S. MY DEEPEST SYMPATHY TO ALL OF HER FAMILY.
