Although I may not have had Mrs. Basford as a teacher this year, I will miss her greatly, we all will. Her laugh will echo in the hallways, her voice will ring troughout the building. Her presence will always be known here at Fairfield High School. Although she is not here with us, she is in a better place. A place of happiness, a place of pure joy. Tears and sorrow are not part of the place where she is or where she is going. I may not be present at the funeral but she will be in my prayers. She will be greatly missed but we all know that she is in heaven with the angels and the Almighty God, himself. Let her rejoice in his presense for eternity.

To Jason and the Germann family, Jason,I was very sorry to hear about Mandy.I teach at East Clinton in the middle school. I have not yet had the pleasure of making your acquaintance. Mandy was a student of mine at St.Michaels some years ago. As I think of Mandy, I can only recall her as a fifth grader. It is a pleasurable memory to me. I enjoyed having both Matt and Mandy as my students. I have many fond memories of my time with them at St. Michaels. I pray that the Lord will be a great comfort to you during this time of sorrow.
