I learned of Sherman's passing through the Turner Funeral Home Web Page. He was a classmate at the Mowrystown School during the period 1938-40. He liked to sing, and I well remember the time that he stood at the front of the classroom while he sang the entire verse of "The Wabash Cannon Ball" for us, a popular song at the time. I extend my sympathy to the family of Sherman. Sincerely, Roger J. Roberts, Medford, Oregon.
May God bless you all with the strength to make it through this time of your lives.
