Baldwin
age 87 of Leesburg
died Tuesday evening May 8, 2007 at the Hearth and Care in Greenfield. She was
born December 2, 1919 near Cherry Fork, Adams County, Ohio the daughter of the
late Charles and Clara Brookover Hattan. Mrs. Baldwin was a member of the
Hardin’s Creek Friends Church. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law,
Steven and Becky Baldwin of Leesburg, one daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and
Gerald Hawthorne of Dodsonville, four grandchildren, Joy and Jason Turner, Greg
and Jessica Baldwin, Joshua Baldwin and Nichole Baldwin, eight great
grandchildren, one sister, Marybelle Myers of Corden, Indiana and several nieces
and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her
husband, Oren A. Baldwin on October 27, 1982, one son, Charles Baldwin and two
brothers, Walter and Howard Hattan. Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday at
the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Pastor Tony Tompkins will officiate.
Burial will follow at the Hardin’s Creek Cemetery at Bridges. Friends may call
on Friday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in
Hillsboro. Memorial
