Darlene H. Babington age 74 of Hillsboro died Saturday morning April 24, 2004 at the Highland District Hospital in Hillsboro. She was born in 1929 in Ironton, Ohio the daughter of the late Oscar and Mary (Syar) Conaway. Mrs. Babington was a Licensed Practical Nurse and a member of the Bay Street Baptist Church in Eustis, Florida. She is survived by her daughter, Genevieve Glassburn of Leesburg, two sons, Daniel Babington of Ogden, Utah, Miles Babington of Falls Church, Virginia, one sister, Georgia Placke of Covington, Kentucky, seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, one brother, Everett Conaway and four sisters, Ethel Sites, Alma Cooper, Dorothy Marshall and Mary Bowen, preceded her in death. Graveside services for the family will be held Monday at the Cynthiana Cemetery. There will be no visitation. The Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro is serving the family.
