Stella Attinger, age 61, of Wilmington, died Wednesday November 1, 2006 at Clinton Memorial Hospital in Wilmington.  She was born October 1, 1945 in Cincinnati, Ohio the daughter of the late Nancy Beekman.  She had attended the Center Christian Church in Jeffersonville, Ohio.  She is survived by three daughters, Anna Marie Cooper of Wilmington, Tina (Jim) Herdman of Lynchburg, and Deanna Sue Murphy of Wilmington; six grandchildren, Robert Allgood of Wilmington, Matt Allgood of Georgia, Joseph Allgood of Sabina, Raymond Herdman of Lynchburg, Brittany Logan of Wilmington, and Brook Logan of Wilmington; two great grandchildren, Malachi Allgood and Brock Allgood.  In addition to her mother she is preceded in death by her husband William Attinger, and her brother Larry Warren.  Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 4, 2006 at the Davis-Turner Funeral Home, Lynchburg.  Pastor Randy Lee of the Center Christian Church will officiate.  Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m.  Burial will follow in Dunn’s Chapel Cemetery.  For more information and to sign our on-line register please visit www.turnerfuneralhomes.cc
