Fred M. Adams, age 71, of Lynchburg, died Tuesday evening, October 26, 2010 at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati. He was born September 24, 1939, in Cincinnati, a son of the late Everett and Sarah Ann (Bowles) Adams. He was a retired brick mason, and was a member of the Hillsboro Southern Baptist Church. He is survived by five children, Paul Glasier of Cincinnati; James Rust of Hillsboro; Angela Beatty of Hillsboro; Lisa Shepherd and her husband Larry of Hillsboro, and Shanda Tuck and her husband Robert of Hillsboro; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; one sister, Rose (Robert) Forsee of Cincinnati; one brother, Everett (Sandy) Adams of Cincinnati; a grandson-in-law, Nate Berry of Hillsboro as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Heather Berry, who passed away March 8, 2010, a sister, Susie Peugh, a brother, Harrison Adams, and a nephew, Charlie Adams. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 30, 2010 at the Hillsboro Southern Baptist Church. Pastor Scott Slone will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hamer Township Cemetery. Friends may call from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 29, 2010 at the church. Contributions in Mr. Adams’ memory may be made to any Merchant’s National Bank branch in c/o the account of Lisa Shepherd.
