Hazel M. Achor age 90 of New Vienna, Ohio died Monday evening, January 31, 2005 at the Highland District Hospital. She was born December 21, 1914 near Hillsboro, Ohio the daughter of the late Joseph Harley and Nellie Mae (Chaney) Cluff. She was a member of the Dunn’s Chapel United Methodist Church. She is survived by two daughters, Beulah (Lee) Collins of Lynchburg, Ann (Sam Stubbs) Pinkerton of New Vienna, eight grandchildren, David Smith of Mississippi, Terry Smith of Allensburg, Robert Roades of Hillsboro, Twilla Nave of Mowrystown, Phillip Achor of Hillsboro, Doug Pinkerton of Leescreek, Tim Pinkerton of Lynchburg, Tom Henderson of Clarksville, fourteen great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Olin Achor on August 28, 1991, one son Charles Robert “Bobby” Achor, two brothers, Heber and Chester Cluff and one grandson, Gary Smith. Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Davis-Turner Funeral Home in Lynchburg. Rev. Harold Braley and Rev. Janie Shoemaker will officiate. Burial will follow in the Dunn’s Chapel Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Davis-Turner Funeral Home in Lynchburg. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
