Norman C. Aber age 86 of Lynchburg, Ohio died Wednesday evening, February 15, 2006 at the Laurels of Hillsboro. He was born January 1, 1920 in Pricetown, Ohio the son of the late Ezekiel and Sara Ellen (Burton) Aber. Mr. Aber had retired from the General Motors Corporation as a lathe operator with thirty years of service. He was a member of the Lynchburg United Methodist Church, Lynchburg Lodge 178 F& A.M., Scottish Rite Valley of Cincinnati, a life member of the Good Sam Travel Club and also the American Motorcycle Association.  He is survived by one son, Terry Aber of Tulsa, Oklahoma, two daughters, Cindy (Tom) Germscheid of New Mexico and Judy (Clyde) Burrows of Spring Valley, California, one sister, Mildred Meddock of Lynchburg, two brothers, Delman Aber, Herman Aber and Gene Paul Aber all of Hillsboro, seven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma (Van Mater) Aber on March 23, 2001, three brothers, Norris, Lewis and Oscar Aber and two sisters, Edna Viola Newkirk and Gladys Bowen. Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the Davis-Turner Funeral Home in Lynchburg. Pastor Bill Biza will officiate. Burial will follow in the Troutwine Cemetery. Friends may call on Saturday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Davis-Turner Funeral Home in Lynchburg.
